U turn on the telly and every other story...

Right now I'm watching a repeat (or re-run if you will) of one of the greatest TV dramas ever: The West Wing.

The episode is Take Out The Trash Day. In it the news about to hit the press is that the Chief of Staff is about to be outted as a Alcoholic and Valium addict.

It seems to me that this programme, although still a class act, is already dating. It's a Sign O' The Times. When isn't it in the news recently that a someone from the current US government isn't coming out with something similar - whether it be booze, drugs, sex pestering etc etc etc....
